Not to give it away but the resolution was a cop-out and a rip off.
Haunted by things left unsaid, paths left untrod, people left behind. And here’s my biggest beef: All of the characters are richly developed here. The telling of the story itself was quite distinct as well, and I couldn’t wait to get to the end and discover the truth of what happened that night in the yelp. It is truly compelling throughout and highly addictive — as Sylvie struggles to make sense of her life and the lives of those around her you will be enthralled, immersed into their world and barely able to look away.
Something feels creepy and just plain wrong for Sylvie but she stays in the car as she was told.

Fiction Novel with parents whose occupation as Paranormal investigators is similar to Ed and Lorraine Warren. That is a little vague because I’m not real clear on what they hwlp.
English Choose a language for shopping. When New York psychologist Will Hardy’s wife is killed, he and his teenage daughter Bernadette move into Godwin Hall, a dusty, shut-up mansion in the small town of Abbeville, Ohio.
This turned out to be an anti-ghost story you’ll know what I mean if johm read this bookso not exactly what I was looking for. I think that with a clearer focus and some editing out of plodding, repetitive scenes, the book could have been amazing.
Amazon Second Chance Pass it on, trade it in, give it a second life. The novel alternates between the past and the present. I had the audio, and one of my very favorite narrators, Emma Hauntef, While revising Jelp for the HauntedI took a break and stumbled into a restaurant.
Also, I was in the market for a good, summer ghost story.

This is a well written, reasonably engrossing genre novel. A masterful genre mash-up that’s part paranormal thriller, part coming-of-age story, part crime fiction, Searles’ eerie novel about a young girl uncovering the mystery of her parents’ murders builds to a fod and poignant conclusion.
Winter’s Snow by Carrie Hope Fletcher. Halfway through I realized that I wasn’t going to enjoy it and that I felt like it was going nowhere. Sphere Call Me Evie J. Somewhat to my surprise I am about as far away from being a teenage girl as you can get I loved this book from the very first page.
There was never any question as to whether I would finish this one. They aren’t exorcists or psychics and they certainly aren’t parapsychologists. The meeting place hslp an old church, and Sylvie is told to stay in the car while the parents go inside hoping to talk with Rose. Most are simply afraid of what they don’t understand and since the deaths of her parents, most people believe that the people the Mason’s helped carried some evil right alongside them.

I’m obviously in the minority as far as reviews of this book, but I guess “to each his own”. Searles over-relies on external markers to delineate her, such as, music taste.
She’s one of the best in the biz. This is not the first late-night call they have received, since her mother and father have an uncommon tthe, helping “haunted souls” find peace. It’s not long before an overheard conversation draws Karen into the heart of a different case, however – a shocking crime she thought she’d already prevented. Oct 14, Donnelle rated it liked it. I found myself eagerly waiting for something to happen, for some action, for something interesting to push the story along.
Extremely well drawn both, they provide the anchor around which all else flows, in a tale that is at turns enchanting and alarming.
What’s not to love?
